On January 23rd - 25th, Jamie Annise, Karen Hess, and Matennah (an Alpha client) participated in “Babies Go To Congress” with Heartbeat International. In a one-day blitz, Alpha visited the offices of six Pennsylvania representatives from Philadelphia and surrounding counties. Karen explained the important work that Alpha does. Matennah shared about how APS had been so helpful to her and her family, especially when she first learned she was pregnant and people advised her to abort the twins. The impact of her story really hit home because her 18-month-old twins and their four-year-old sister came along! It was a powerful week to see God at work, not only at Alpha, but in the halls of Congress.
